UDP Install gone wrong...help!
Ok, I planned on putting my ASP UDP on last night. I had everything apart, belts off, CS pulley off, and jammed the other one on. When I tried the belts that came with it, they wouldn't fit! If they were a 1/4 inch bigger they would've fit perfectly. Now because of this, I broke my tensioner(sp) pulley for the power steering and water pump. Gotta pay almost $200 to get that fixed! Anyway, question is, the UDP was used along with the belts, so how come they wouldn't fit? I know I did everything right, I had my cousin/mechanic standing over me the whole time! Any help is greatly appreciated.

a couple people have posted the correct belt numbers here before so you should be able to find it in the search
sorry to hear about that
I broke my power steering pump bracket when doing my clutch install

My friend and I were lucky to find one at a junkyard for $30 or so. It would be a pain to replace without removing the axles, but doable. We had the axles out for the clutch job anyway so it wasn't that hard to do.
good luck
