Please someone stop the hesitation
Ok, I've cleaned the throttle body, I replaced the air filter and I changed the fuel filter. What else? I bought a new PCV valve but, could not change it for the life of me, any tips???
I don't know what else to check.
Here are my symptoms. When sitting a stoplight (Max in drive, sittinkg on the brake) the car will start hick uping or almost stalling. The rpms will start to fluctuate, but it will never stall. Then sometimes when I take off the car will lose power a kind of sputter. What can this be??? This usually only happens for the first 10 mins of driving. After the car is warmed up or if I really get on it, it will stop or lessen a great deal. I know I need to replace the spark plugs and I will as soon as I get paid, but is this caused by faulty spark plugs? Any help is appreciated.

Re: Re: Please someone stop the hesitation
So i was reading in the factory manual because i know this is a pretty big problem for alot of people.
My biggest conclusion about this problem is that you guys should check out your throttle position sensor. Test it properly and replace if necessary.

Where is the throttle position sensor? I'm willing to check about anything write now.
Oh, I already ran a fuel cleaner through the system and I don't see any imporvement. The fuel system cleaner I used was some cheap $2 STP stuff from Walmart though, do you think I should pick up some of the BGK44 ( is that what its called?) and try that.

Check and see if any of your battery clamps are loose, mine was. I had to give it a firm wiggle but it was loose. Also try a new cap and rotor, just dont get it at Advanced Auto. Check to make sure your plug wires arent touching. The last couple of checks are simple easy ones. Mine was doing similar things and a combo of these easy things seemed to help mine out a lot.
Good luck.

Re: Please someone stop the hesitation
My car had your problem about 6 month ago, and it is getting worse, similar to (or worse than) what is described in the following post.
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=157896
He had Nissan dealer checked his car, and I think I will follow what the dealer suggested to change all the coils. I will have it fixed in next week and let you know the result.
Good luck.
