Because Your All Dying to Know....

I was looking at some 4th Gen Maximas. Private party Max's are non-existent here in Nebraska. Dealers were just asking too much, not to mention I found 1 decent 4th Gen manual. It was a '99 SE-L. Red, with everything but leather. I cant express how impressed I was with it...It was so smoooth. It probably hadnt been started in a month or two and it was about 15* out but its idle was perfect. I drove it and it was great....but the dealer (Stan Olsen - I wasnt impressed with that dealership, at all) wouldnt move from the $16,999 too far. They were only going to give me $800 for my '91 too.

Soo.....Im going to buy a '99 Altima GXE (CD, 5speed, 36K, kinda stripped) for $10,200 from Woodhouse Nissan in Bellevue NE. Payments are bit easier to swallow and Ill have to put off my late model Max purchase until I graduate (hopefully next spring).

Sorry to see you moving on from the Max. However, I give you mad props. I know for a fact that I don't have the discipline to walk away from a Maxima like you did. My theory is buy now and pay later.
