I'm doing my front struts/springs i bought some of these kyb boots
here .. they say thaey have intergrated bump stops .. so does that mean i should not use the ones from the old OEM struts..?


heres what it says on the website -

They include an integrated compression bumper that is bonded to the bellows to act as a "bump stop" that helps prevent metal-to-metal contact of the suspension during severe impacts. New KYB Strut Boots and Bumpers exceed original equipment requirements, are easy to install and provide a low cost insurance that protects the struts from dirt, moisture and severe impacts.

 

i think those bump stops are relatively new....when i bought my struts last november, they didnt have them else i wouldve got them...they look pretty useful to me...and yes i think they will make a good replacement to the 11year old oem ones you have.
