Alternator died last night.............

My alternator died last night at 7-11 and Baskin Robins so I have to pick one up for $130.00 at my local auto parts store. Is it easy to replace or should I have the shop at school put it in????

i dont know why but seems like everyone with a max always has alternator probs. 2 replaced withinn 5 years!
