I just bought a CAI from Cattman. It comes with a few pieces of paper the manufacturer (Place Racing) refers to as an "Installation Guide" if you can call it that. In a word...It stinks!

Does anyone have installation notes that they used in installing their CAI? Or possibly a better description of the process?

I have my battery and battery tray out, and the relay and fuse box pulled back.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Jim

I'm not sure, but isn't there something about that in the FAQ section? If not, you might wanna check out Kaleb's website or Craig Brace's website. Both have a wealth of info about almost everything. Best I can do, Jim.

well assuming ou have dsiconnected all the stock airbox stuff...

You just need to lay the template sheet on the fenderwell, tape it down as indicated and start sawing away.
On my Install I actually eneded up cutting a little bit larger of a hole to prevent the tube from rubbing the edge.
I have a couple pics in my link in the sig, but you cant see much from them.

what do you need help with specifically?

im assuming everything is out...you mentioned battery tray and fuse box...so that leaves the stock airbox and tubing...ill just assume its out...

your next step is to cut the whole...just look at the template carefully...there should be a screw size circle...that matches up with one of the battery tray holes and this should give you an idea of where to cut the hole...

get the hole cut and install the new tubing etc...any more questions...just ask...please be a lil more specific so we can help you out more...
