Sounds like my door is going to fall off
Hey, I'm getting a odd "creaking" sound from my drivers side door, it's loud and happens every time I hit a bump, brake, turn.
-has anyone had this problem?
-what did you do to fix it?
any info will help.. thanx

kind of on the subject of door hinges, my driver side, rear door hinge creaks. so i just give it a quick spray of WD-40.
does WD-40 mix well with that left over grease on the hinges?
the creak was gone for like 2 days and it came back today.
seems like i have to get replacement hinges myself...

Door catch for the latch
There are square loops that are screwed onto the body of the car this is where the door latch hooks onto the body. They are covered with rubberize plastic. When the plastic is worn off the doors all raddle and shake when you hit a bump. Go get 4 new latch loops or hooks from the dealer, they are cheap. Screw them in and be ammazed how quiet the body of the car gets.
