im getting a set of wheels this weekend and i had a few questions to ask befor i ordered them. i am looking at various enkie tuner wheels and the konig flight wheels. are the konig flights as good as the enkies wheels? does anyone know how much the konig flights weigh?? that is a big factor for me as well as looks. also they are 17x8. is that gonna fit? i thought they would but wanted to double check. 8 is pretty wide.
thanks in advance

i recall reading in past posts that 8 inch wides will rub on something in the rear. unfortunatly if you get the offset far enough out so it dosent rub, then you'll probably go past the fender.

The wheels should fit fine. I have 8" rims on mine and they are great. They are close but ther is no rubbing. They dont stick out the wheel wells either. I think that the 8" rim looks better than the 7.5" when you put the tires on them. The side wall is flat and sweet.

this is a cut and paste from and earlier post i made.

beware of the offsset, i have 17/8 Rota Stage 5's with 245/45/17 (35mm offset according to manufaturer). they fit the fronts no problem but the rears needed a 5mm spacer. however they were supposed to fit without any changes. so now my offset is 35 front and 30 in the rear.

here are the corrections.
you will be able to fit 17x8 but the offset should be around 40mm or less if possible. my rota's have 40mm offset and i had to use a 3mm spaver to make them fit wothout rubbing. as far as tires are concearned go with some 235/45/17. the 1cm diff in width will make an impact on my clearance issue. the 245's are a little to wide for my particular rims.
