where to get seafoam???

I used the spray version of the intake/conbustion chamber cleaner. Not all places carry it. Would be best just to CALL a few local places. But depending on what you want to use it for, there are alot of similar products.

If you do this with the liquid version in a can, BE CAREFULL! You could very well hydrolock the engine. The vac line from the brake booster is WAY to big. Use a restrictor valve.

3 Cans is WAYYYY tooo much.
Even my 2 cans, with putting the proper ammounts in the fuel and crank, will leave alot left for me to pull threw the vacuum.
As jeff said, no brake booster, if your a 5spd, you can probably use the line from the Variable Intake. I would probably use a 1/4" or 3/8" hose, but you have to feather the stuff, if you let it suck it a bunch the engine will stumble and stall and probably hydrolock like Jeff said.
David, Seafoam is probably the best product for cleaning your engine of carbon deposits and build up. Marine people use it in their gas tanks as a stabilizer if the boats going to be sitting for a while.

Used the Trans-Tune product on my tranny today- testimonials on the web site say this dude with a 89 Accord cured his slipping tranny with it. Guess what? didn't work on the max...I didn't really think it would, but had to try that $5.99 cure before I go for the $1200-plus cure. Bought the carbon cleaner stuff too, but haven't tried it yet.

well i finally got my hands on a bottle of seafoam, but i have one question wheni go to pour a 1/3 of the bottle in the gas tank, should my tank be near empty or can i go ahead and pour it in while my tank is on 3/4??

have you read the instructions on the can?
I'd have your tank near empty so your not using so much of it in the tank, and mix it as instructed. Also mix in the reccomended ammount with the oil, and use the rest in the vacuum.

I was thinking about putting the Lucas in our 91 Jimmy, but went with Hyperlube instead. this is for the oil.
The engine is tired and I am trying to use a thicker oil to bring back some compression. I dont reccomend this for Maxima's, its just this is a standard pushrod chebby and this is a bandaid fix until I have more time to rebuild that engine, or just consider dropping in a 350 or something and lowering the gear ratios for a nice cruiser.
also for the record, the seafoam made more of a difference than the hyper lube. You can use Lucas oil to build engines, or hyper lube, but I'm probably just going to use some Comp Cams breakin lube when I rebuild my VE, if I do.
