Hey Eddie could you find me a NZ grille?

Why do NZ Maximas look so much better than US Maximas?

Seriously though, those 2 red lights by the liscence plate make the rear end look so much better

internetautomar - the part number for the Iridium plugs is BKR5EIX - 11. So far i've noticed a slight increase in power when the cars warmed up, but nothing major. Found cracks on the 3 front coils, so i guess they'll have to be replaced now too... anyone know how much power loss a crack on the outer casing of the coil will cause?

Damn Southland played like crap today Go the warriors!!!!

Red lights (reflectors) are also fog lights in European markets. Australian regs at that time mandated reflectors in the bumpers - even though there are reflectors in tail lights! (NZ max same basic car as Oz max).

NZ max grille comes in 2 flavors - the standard unpainted, thick 2-slot style & the more upmarket chrome, thin multi-slot style. Jap max's (what we in NZ call imports) have US-style grille & charcoal a real popular color in Japan as well... I kinda like both types of NZ grilles - the upmarket one has grown on me since I bought my max

Guess we could hit the site owner up for a New Zealand regional forum, or maybe an Asia Pacific forum? Then we could keep in touch and talk about stuff relevant to us!

Eddy - dunno if the the plats are worth it for the VG, i hear the coppers do just as well for them. Will know more about how these plugs go when i get my new coils in. Mechanical warranty is gonna pay for them, so i'm getting 6 new ones! Hopefully in by the end of the week.

Hey man, do u want lowering springs or just regular ones? I have King lowering springs myself. As far as the FSTB, might be best to get it from Aussie. I tried to find one here, but my Max is alittle different. Will tell u more about it.

Edzmax What u pay for your kings and what the quality like in the ride. Did u get new shocks at the same time.

They say something about using a FSTB from an A33 but haven't checked this out myself.

Yeah, got new shocks at the same time. Cost about $1000 for the whole lot. But, I got it done when I got my rims. Rides very nice. Better than the way it was. Well, having the original shocks doesn't help either. My shocks r KYB, just go to North City Tyres if u have one there.

yo ed :]

im after lowering spring yeah.. cant be much more than an inch to an inch and a half because i have 17x8 wheels and i already get rubbing on full lock turns. So i guess im looking for hardish mild lowering springs..

i wanna get rid of the boat roll setup, im guessing what i need is a FSTB, sway bars and springs..

I have 17x7 rims with a 1 1/2 inch drop from the springs. No boat roll anymore. Also, have ure shocks replaced too if u havent already done so. Mine were f$$$ed. They had 165,000 kms on them. They were the org. springs. Thats very unsafe, but the dealership I bought the car from never changed them.

for all you other new zealanders...

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=250400

If we let them know there are numbers to support it, who knows... it would certainly be easier than using this thread
