seriously, I don't care how long you've been waiting for these, we know your ****ed so you don't have to re-iterate this in ever single post. chill. please. We (shawn and I) are doing the best we can. It's not necessarily our priority to get these to you asap. John couldn't make it up this week so, thats that. He has a life... one that I'm sure has it's ups and downs. So, my advice to you is to sit down and buck up. You'll get your intake. Is it really this life-or-death situation you seem to be in? honestly... It's a freaking intake.

 

I think the key thing to remember is that it's making progress, whether he doesnt get to see them one weekend or not. You guys are willing to help and thats all we need to know. Jees, and in the beginning I thought i was taking a leap by expressing my frustrations.

 

what do you mean there is no VE intakes ? are you kidding me ? i was told it was done ! i paid 160 bucks for a VE mid and end pipe, if he dosent have it i expect my 160 bucks back to me by monday of next week, hence the end of the two week deadline. My desition stands and i am pressing charges come next week unless i have my intake or my refund.

ive been patient, understanding, and helpful if there is no VE intakes then hes screwing with me and i dont appreciate it if it wasnt for the caring people here liek shawn noone would know a thing because he is too damn lazy to get to a computer HELLO ! librarys have them for free usage even if it was once a month that he personally stopped in and updated everyone, thing about that is shawn wasnt in contact wtih him how would we know anything ? im broke as hell yet at the time i bought this i actually was ok on money so i KNOW hard times im in it right now. John will obviously have to learn that he cant take peolpes money unless he is willing to return a product in a timely manner. I have had it im fed up and im goin after him (legal wise) I have already spoken with my lawyer and i have a strong enough case for small claims court. one week to go. and to you guys who are trying to help him i have no problem with you in fact i commend you for stepping in and trying to give a helping hand.

 

Dude, we're all a little upset for the delay. BUT what are you going to win out of this? John's already experiencing financial problems, it's not like you're going to get more money out of him in a small claims court. Do you really think all the court fees/paperwork/hassle will be worth it? Intakes is a want, not a need in everyday life. IMO we should just all sit back and see where this goes.

thats bull im the disgrace yet someone takes money and dosent deliver or communicate with his customers. i understand that a cai isnt something you need nor is any of the other things we add onto our cars however when you buy something and put your money on the line which we have so little of it gets overly frusterating when all we get is excuses. it will honestly take one weekend to finish these up. he even had a welder donated by a gracious org member to finish them. everyone is trying to help him out and honestly if i was closer to him id offer my help too. what will i gain out of this ? probably not much but this guy has been out of commission for quite some time now he has people closer to him that is willing to help him get this done and isnt taking advantage of that. has anyone talked to him lately and asked if he was willing to hand off the project ? i liked the idea earlier about helping out with shipping again and just finishing this once and for all. so being a disgrace i think not its not like we all have to be here, we are here to help others with questions and ive helped on quite a few. at this point i really dont care about the cai any more if john just wants to refund the 160 bucks ill be happy with that and get the one on ebay for alot cheaper.

so a disgrace im not remember the gauge pods ? heck i never really made a peep about those because good communication was made and a great product came of it and i couldnt be happier with it. all i see and hear on this deal is "not this weekend", "maybe next weekend", there are no VE inakes", "yours is done", ect...
it gets old and i hate procrastination just finish them if everyone in a tight spot stopped what they were doing the whole world would cease to exist.....

I don't necessarily relate to his level of frustration but you must realize that these were purchased at late september early october and we now rear into the month of march. He is simply putting his foot down because waiting is all he has done thus far.

We all realize that we will get it when they are done. Telling us that is about as pointless as rushing the barely moving progress that, until a few weeks ago, we lacked. This topic is a medium to inform/update, nothing else.

He has every right to be angry. Some people take stuff like this differently. We are not all the same.

he feels he is getting ripped off and so do several others too I imagine so lets not call someone a disgrace just because he is voicing his opinon of how he is being treated...after all its not his fault John fell on hard times (I feel for John I really do so dont take that statement the wrong way). some people can be patient for so long.

I just sent a fellow .org member a $20 M.O. for an fstb he was selling...and you know if I don't get it back, I'm pretty much **** out of luck...now because I took a risk in sending that money, no way will I file a lawsuit, sure, I'll be ****ed, but I took a RISK...no different then ordering something off ebay...people get screwed there all the time.

Thanks! I was beginning to get worried that I might catch some bad flack (or whatever) in this, sometimes it seems like people think I'm actually part of John's whole business and such and it really isn't the case.

Personally, John is a really cool guy and is awesome to have around. He doesn't get all panzish about working on cars like some guys, he just gets things done, seriously, I know that doesn't sound like the case with these, but it is how he is. I wish he was closer to me, it would be awesome, I'd get so much more stuff done. I have developed a bad habbit of procrastinating (mainly not working on my car unless another friend is around just because its boring otherwise, lol).

Now about Piggie Racing, I completely agree that it is taking too long, waaayyyy too long, but he's doing the best he can. As much as I'd like, I cant expect him to make an ~300 mile trip (one way) every other weekend. He's already been up here 3 times. The first time was a meet when I first met him, then the second he was snowed in for a few days, lol. The third wasnt too long ago (when we did all the work on the intakes). Not only does that cost alot (may not seem like alot, but when you have no money...) it also puts addition wear and tear on his tires. I automatically respect him a bunch just for making the trip. I wouldn't the way my car is right now (unsure of the allignment/camber). blah blah blah. We're working on getting him back up here.

Anyway back to what I'm trying to say about Piggie Racing, Yes I think it has taken wayyyy too long, wayyy wayyy to long, yes it sucks. I really have nothing to gain by helping and doing all of this cordination and stuff for myself, but I just imagined myself in your guy's place and felt I could do something to help, and I'm trying my best. Granted it's not my #1 priority, but I still think I'm doing a somewhat decent job. If I was in say Nick or Chad or anyone's shoes I sure as hell wouldnt be writting poems, or if I was it would have been on page 3 (ie much earlier), I would be extremely ****ed off, seriously. Especially being across the country, and not being in contact, etc. I'd rant about it. Giving them crap for ranting about it is BS. How long has it been guys? Seriously. It is BS. On that note though, if you are going to rant, keep it at about the same level as Nick's (gowirelessnj), making personal threats will just get this thread locked (on that note, a big thank you to the moderators for leaving it open, I believe it is really helping thing move along). I do ask if you are going to rant, keep it civilized and such, going physco will only hurt things.


Another thing people should realize, the guys involved with this are handling it very well. I think the updates help out alot because you have an idea of whats going on, I mean think about it, what if we didn't post a single thing about where the intakes were or how they were coming along. Just going off of past issues where there was little to no communication things got very very ugly. Think about if I never posted in this thread, you guys would probably be going crazy about how he stole your money and never going to get your product, atleast now, hopefully you wont assume stuff and this thread is still pretty dang civil.

Blah blah blah (lol, yaaay) Also please dont just start ranting because of this post. As Jack said, he wasn't even sure if he should have made the thread, he thought he was coming off strong, and now look at it. Let's just keep it to updates, Chad's poems, and other related stuff.

Also the whole comment about no VE intakes, about that, I (Shawn) do not have any VE intakes because I believe they are already welded and such. They were in the back seat of his car when he came up.

 

I havent even started ranting and i wont. why? b/c i have patience. i mean i play Everquest or evercrack dont know which. and i have had to sit in one spot in the game on a "raid" for 12 hours. if i can do that, i can wait for my intake.
