as night falls here,
our hopes of cold air draw near.
these crusaders for right,
will none the less fight.
one day they will be here,
and all our anger will be relaxed with some beer.
i have faith in shawn and all others who help,
for i can do nothing but let out a yelp.
my plea to john is to let others assist,
because if not we will all be pi$$ed.

Well the poems are the only way to vent that doesn't make me want close the thread. If the thread is deleted/closed, no one will get updates. So it's best to just let them do their thing.

I didnt mean that in a derogitory way when I said "whats your deal with the poems"

But my deal (since you asked) is that these guys are very angry and they are venting without personal attacks or even *****ing much so I dont see a thing wrong with it.

My other deal with this thread was offering to help you guys out to get your intakes faster.

As creator of the thread, I'm fine with the poems. All of them are very creative and funny as well. As Jeff said, as long as they are not malicious then let them be.

Updates will not be unnoticed, i've read every single reply within this thread. I'm not asking for a poetry corner and creative works section of the .org but we will all know when they give us updates and we do appreciate them.

thank you, jeff, for being understanding and cool. i am glad you "see" what the rhymes can do for some of us. if space is an issue, then/i'll type 'em in a line/so others can find the updates/in half the space and time

pipes have yet to be ground down. some are... but they are the ones needing to be re-welded. they aren't exactly the easiest things to grind down on an eight inch bench grinder. their shape makes is highly difficult. Dremels take *way* too long, shawns die grinder is a PITA due to an incompetant air-compressor that doesn't move enough air. I can't use the angle grinder i have access to at work due to the fact that it takes two hands to hold (plus, it's meant to cut up frames and **** like that... it would go through this steel like a hot knife through butter).

Plus, say I got em all done. John still doesn't have the other parts up here yet.

I'd be grateful for even this. I'm now working full-time to support myself (and my growing tool collection) which means I'm working ~65 hours a week. i know shawn has plenty of time, but he doesn't have the tools.

I'm about to take this all on myself just to get rid of this whole fiasco. if you want a very unfinished VG midpipe w/o a MAF adapter, pm me and we'll work something out. You'll have to make your own support thing but I could possibly paint them for you... but that could be a strech. Jeff *might* have the ability to make some maf adapters (don't quote me on that, the topic came up).

wireless: i dunno about your case. We have no VE pipes at all here. All I can say is wait some more unless I magically can make you one. It'd be ****ty, but you'd have it and you wouldn't have to pay me. If I could weld and had access to a welder, you'd have it by now.

As of now, I'm getting sick and tired of John's lack of *forwardness*. I'm getting sick and tired of the same old "Updates?" and "wtf is my cai?!?!"

I think it's time someone take it up. That someone could very well be me. that is all.

My air compressor isnt incompetant, it works very well for what I use it for. I've done lots of porting work with it and never have had to wait for it, even using high flow tools I have not been restricted by the compressor. Granted if you had 3 garage bays using impact wrenches at the same time for a few minutes, yes the compressor would not be able to flow all of that. My problem with the grinder is simply the lack of grinding bits to make it work.

I talked to John a few days ago and sadly cannot say when he will be coming up, he said he was busy, but still. I forgot who posted but his contact info is somewhere in this thread. Right now I just recommend that you guys call him and ask him whats up.

y helo there court!

Shawn doesn't want to deal with it (and now, neither do I). Save yourself the trouble and get your money back. you'll have it before we get the damn things out. Sorry for those who saw the original message.

It's not that I dont want to deal with it, I just think its bull**** that these things aren't out yet. Its been god who knows how long. I really do want to get these things out to you guys really badly, but it just can't happen with out John sending the parts to complete the kit (CAI portion, MAF adapters, couplings, filters, hose clamps, etc?). I guess he has lost motivation to get them out/done, so I simply told Anton that if I was in your guy's shoes I would demand a refund/possiably look into legal options if he is not so willing to comply (ie. good business).

Anyway, I'm more than happy to help out with the intakes, but there really isn't much more Anton and I can do on this side with out the parts john has, or money to buy new parts.

lol, I wish, then again if it was my business these guys would have had these with in 2 weeks of payment (would give me plenty of time to build, assuming one week to build, one week to ship). Anyway we are way past that.
