Will it rub??????????????
OK guys I just put a set of 18x8's on with 235/40/18. As of now it only rubs very little when i make a sharp u-turn.
My question is if I lower the car with a set of Eibachs and new struts will It rub? The car needs new struts so I was thinking of lowering the car.
What are some of the rim/tire/spring combos some of you guys are running?

well it depends on where its rubbing.
If its rubbing in the front when you make a turn then you should be ok (ie if its rubbing the inner plastic fender from turning the wheel too much). If its rubbing the strut it will not matter because the position of the strut never changes on the car with position to the tire. If its rubbing the outer fender then yeah its going to rub when you lower it.
BTW Shaved I got you pm and signed on but you were not there. Missed you again LOL.

I have spacers on the back rims so they clear the shock towers. The fronts rub on the inner wheelwell when i make a sharp uturn. Will a small spacer fix this? Also if it doesnt then I should still be able to lower the car. The rims do not hit the outer fenders at all.
Im not sure of the offset.

They would probably fix your rubbing. Like most aftermarket wheels yours have too high an offset. It would be helpful to find out the exact offset (sometimes on back side of wheel somewhere) so that you can get exactly the right size of spacer for the front. Ideally you want to end up with a corrected offset of 30-35.
