Will this fit our car?

I saw this the other day on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2452190548

I sent the seller an email since it ended already. He said I could buy it from him outside ebay. But my question is will this fit our car? I know it says 87-88 which is a 2nd gen if I am correct, but they are relatively close to our cars. Anyone know whether this will fit on our 3rd gens or not?

sounds interesting... I myself wonder if that would work! thing is, I wouldn't really want to deal with it (high tech for a early, early year...)

I wouldn't try it personally due to the fact that it must in some way rely on the VSS for part of its signal and that part was changed between years

VSS= Vehicle Speed Sensor. The vehicle speed sensor, located on the transaxle, sends a signal to the ECM and to the speedometer to monitor vehicle speed

I have that feature on my car, i have a 93 GXE, but it came stock w/ that feature. I wouldn't know if that sensor from a 2nd gen would work on a 3rd gen.
