need some help with installing an alarm

i have an old UNGO MS3001 sitting around and finally decided to put it in, now what im wondering is the ignition wire, where would be the best place to cut the wire, and im confused about the manual here saying " normally closed starter kill and then normally open starter kill". The two diagrams are the same for the relay connections but then states either the NC or NO wire is used, whats the difference really? Also where do i tap into the parking lights for the "headlamp flash" function, same with the horn. I know i dont have the experience to do such a job as im doing, but i guess im poor like that and am confident enough in my own electrical knowledge to be able to complete such a task. Any other comments / concerns would be appreciated!

Here's the best way I can describe the normally open/normally closed thing to ya without breaking out diagrams and such:

A relay consist of a coil (which are terminals 85 & 86), a common terminal (#30), a normally closed terminal (#87a), and a normally open terminal (#87).

When wired up in whatever way you want it to be, and there is no power going through the coil (#85 and #86), the #30 terminal and the #87a terminal are connected. Hence, the term "normally closed". However, when you apply power to the coil (#85 and #86), the #30 terminal and the #87 terminal are connected.

I've wired most cars (including mine) for a normally closed starter kill. So, wire it like this:
#86 = 12v from the ignition wire
#85 = the 'ground when armed' wire from the alarm
#87 = not used
Cut the starter wire and...
#87a = the key side wire from the starter wire you cut
#30 = the starter motor side wire from the starter wire you cut

You can get to these (and pretty much all) wires at the ignition harness running right off the steering column. Even the horn and parking light are there, if you look hard enuff...

Good luck and PM or AIM me if you need any help.
