RSTB in, thanks BlehmCo!

Got it on wednesday @ 11:00 AM, it was in at 12:30 the same day. Excellent workmanship and fit. I was missing a lock washer, but who cares?

Rear of the car seems to track with the front much better. Now I just need a sway bar back there and I'll be golden.

Once again, I highly reccomend this product and seller.

Last time I drove the car enthusiastically I did a 270* and it was dry out, so I'm waiting until I get new wheels/tires before I play again

PM Matt93SE, he's the one making them. Think they were going for 70 bucks each (don't quote me on that)

Hey Matt,

you know a place where it shows you how to install the rstb. Just want to see how difficult it is before I jump in.

it's just as easy as the FSTB, except you have to pull the rear seatback first. 15 minute install.

At first I was worried that it might be a problem because I was 98% sure Matt doesn't have ABS (been a while since I've looked at his car domain) and the ABS has a larger wiring harness back there. Anyway it fits perfectly

Shawn, I actually test-fit it on a second car with ABS just to make sure it would fit.

i still have douts that the rear strut bar would give more stiffness.. why cuz its a 4 door car (feals like a boat) and even with a addco rsb and springs and struts and fsb, the rear still swings, on hard turns, the only hope for us my be the sub frame connectors (still waiting the vertict)
plz someone post that i cant trust..
or that is not selling RSTBs

... better yet! Matt... do u have a G-meter?.. and a skid pad

all u have to do is build a skid pad and buy a g-meter.. and im sold.... EZ

there are alot of performance parts out there that could do nothing and be all in your head... u agree with me on that right?
and i know for a fact that mattblemco (hehe) makes great products!! but if i had the power to make them id tell everyone that it made a diference too.. (no offence matt plzzz, ur a cool guy and u know what ur talking about when it come to just about everything)
plus if i baught one.. id probly tell myself that it makes a diference..
the point is.. i was just hoping that some one can get a before and after g-meter around a turn or something.....

-I dont know.. i want one so bad.. but i have to make excuses not to by it.

It's kinda hard to describe, but before, I would turn the front, there would be a delay and then the rear would sway out. Now, there's no delay, but the rear still sways. I don't have a RSB, just the RSTB.

Honestly, the maximum cornering Gs probably won't increase with this mod. what it DOES benefit are the transistions when entering corners, and when weaving back and forth (slalom).
These benefits allow you to drive through corners quicker and more stable than without it, but it won't increase skidpad Gs..

That said, if anybody has a GTech they want to loan me, I'll be more than happy to play around with it and bring back some numbers.

2 bolts behind the arm rest, and 1 bolt on each side on the lower outside corner of the seat, they bolt into a metal bracket that is attached to teh upper cushion. The lower cushion just has little push in connectors that you pull up, it's usually pretty hard if the seat hasnt been out in a long time. I remember the first time I took them out of my black car it took awhile and I thought I was going to break something, Now I can get them in and out in no time at all.

when I pulled my seat bottom out, I literaly had to use a 3ft pry bar and reversed the hole in the process.
It was a beatch.
The seatback never did come off. Just swung it up and out of the way.

come on guys

first rule of thumb on maxima.org for someone that asks a question is....

send them to Craigs site first because he covers a lot of that kind of stuff. Just look under his how to section and it tells how to take the seat out without mutilating it.
