yes you need to find a way to cover the nipple hole. wat i did wit the niple hole wasnt really sealing it. i sawed off most of the nipple and left a little bit of the nipple there. i used a wrench and squeezed the hole together so that there was no air leak or anytthing. also if you plan on doing this, before you start up the car, make sure you get all the little shards of metal out.

Hey, what were the disadvatages/advantages to hybrid vs. Pop charger again? Think it'd be worth the month going from JWI(jim wolf) pop charger to hybrid?

I have been thinking of installing CAI but i live in Phoenix.

Will the 110 degree temperature during the day hurt my engine with CAI?
Would it be better to go with ram air in AZ?

If you look at the 90-93 accords intake there are two parts. The midpipe and the other pipe leading inside of the fender well. The midpipe is the pipe that ends at our stock location thus preventing any cutting to the fender well. The other pipe you'll have to cut the fender to get to the true CAI approach. WHy pay over 200 for something you can pay 60 for and get similar gains?

BTW that pic is not for the VG engine.

edit - Actually I think it should be on the left side regardless of whether you have ABS or not because I just saw a VG on ebay with ABS and the coolant res. is still on the left side.
Mine has ABS and it's on the right.

I've been thinking of putting together a CAI out of an upper tube from WSP and a JWT pop-charger. That'd certainly be easy to make fit...but also very pricey :\

The easiest route would have been to use the old flange inside the airbox.

Just drill out the 2 rivets holding it on. Have it trimmed down, $10-$15 at a local machine shop. And bolt it up to the MAF. It already has the nuts for the bolts. And a 3" air filter clamps on almost perfect (depending upon how good the shop is) The shop I took mine to did a great job.

Ohh, that would be so much fun. The last time I used a dremel it was on my friend's sub woofer box. He had just bought the new hand held attachment for his, and we decided to use it on the box. He was upgrading his terminals. Got a little carried away...

I'm stuck right now between a dremel... or a Plasma Cutter I would get both, but I want to finish the stereo in my truck.

So much fun to cut stuff. Of course I have to try and hold back. Or I'd have a new style of pinstriping on my car. And my wife would be pissed
