Hi guys, just got a quick question. I am getting bad gas mileage (180miles to a tank of 16 gallons) and I can smell gas coming in through the air vents in the morning when I first start my car. I read about faulty o2 sensor and i suspect this is the problem, but I also read about temperature reader or something being a problem also. My temp gauge comes on at 0, and as the engine drives, settles at about halfway between hot and cold, and doesnt move after that. If you guys suspect my o2 is the problem, I would appreciate it if someone could point me to some info/pictures on where it is (i know it is in the exhaust manifold somewhere) and how to swap it out. Also someone recommended buying one from some internet car store for $63 or so including shipping. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Carter

for your particular engine the o2 sensor is in the ypipe not your manifold you will have to jack the car up to get to it. and check your oil, fuel, and air filters. also check your tire pressure and make sure your rotated, balanced and aligned properly.....doesen't seem important but it will hit you right in the wallet. that's all I can think of, hopefully someone else has some more suggestions for you.
