I want some foglights for my max, but am quite clueless on which brand is good etc. I figure I can get some opinions/pics from you guys that have them. Also, how much you guys pay for them. Thanks in advance!

I just have some pilots. Paid $60
I aimed the fogs lower and the headlights up alittle more (I had them down so I could see more of the road).

I also put these on a friends car and he loves them.

I also have Pilots, (PL-1055). They are like ~$20 at autozone. I then put different bulbs in them to match my silverstar headlights. They look A LOT better than the ugly stock ones.

Ok here they are on my old Auto, after I got in the accident:

It really did get mangled, but they are metal housings/mounting (I mounted them to the stock plate).

took alot of banging/grinding to get it to fit back together right, but it does now I also painted them black

I got these Rallys at Advance auto for like $20, I actually think the yellow tint makes the road right infront easier to see, and they've been working great for several months. They're not great looking, but they were inexpensive and do their job. If anything happens to them, I'll upgrade to PIAAs or something down the road.

I have the same ones as floods943. They look pretty good and do the job for $20.

I love it, They are more of a beam light than a flood, but they fill in the area between the headlights and the front of the car really nicely. If you do get some $20 ones, try to make sure they have glass lenses, plastic ones crack way too easily. I've had these on the car for about 2 years (well 2 cars) and the lenses are in perfect shape (aside from getting dirty but thats just me being an idiot ).

They arent from autozone (I've never purchased anything from them and dont intend to ). I bought them at GiJoes. Actually they were on sale, but the retail was $60. They come from Pilot with white housings, I painting them black after I got that passenger back into working condition (it was mangled pretty badly).

For the install I just unbolted the stock fog from the mounting plate, then lined up the Pilots on the car, marked the plate, then drilled the holes. I took the stock female connector off the stock fogs and put it on my pilots. I was thinking about making a new wiring harness for the fogs but meh, the light output is already really good.

I do want to put my stock fogs back on them mount the pilots somewhere where you cant really see them, which is becoming pain to find a spot. I just like the look of the stock fogs lol. Then I would need to run another wiring harness and find a spot to hide the switch for the pilots (I dont like extra non stock switches and stuff showing, hence why I used a AT switch for my VTC's

ok... i was just checking where to mount the lights...is there a bracket or something? my car didn't come stock with foglights. don't want to mount onto my painted part of the bumper (requires drilling) if i don't have to.

Well SE's that came with factory fogs have these little mounting brackets that bolt to the car, then the lights bolt to them. I can take pics for you tommarrow. You might just want to scavange the FS threads, or go to one of those Houston junkyards that Matt was talking about

If your fogs are small enough, mount them where I did. I love where they are. They add a nice middle beam to my headlights!

Check on my cardomain site on page 7 at the first picture.
