opinions and comments..hmmm

what do you guys/girls think my problem is....
(i believe its either glazed clutch disc/flywheel, or some engine/tranny mounts)

when accelerating from stopped position, i get clutch chatter, if i take off with higher rpm's (1500+RPM) chatter gone... also, when i down shift, it also occurs... it also happens when reversing..

i tried setting the e-brake and putting it in first, and revving it,, i seen maybe 1" movement...like where the intake plenum is,,,,

im hoping its not my clutch, if its a mount, which one do you think would cause that...

Move them a bit and inspect for cracks/rips in the rubber.

It could be a glazed clutch but then again you have not told us your driving style, type of clutch nor how many miles on the unit.

you most likely need new engine mounts. that will cause the chatter to get worse, if it's already there.

you probably should be a little nicer to the clutch as well if you expect them to last more than 20k miles on a clutch. (don't ask how I know)
