follow the fuel rail..at the end of the rail there should be a regulator with a smaller rubber vacume line attached to it. pull that line so it is disconnected from the regulator. stick the hose in the can but regulating the flow by pinching the hose. the engine's vacume will pull the sea foam into the motor. do this on a hot engine and exercise caution. if you're unsure about the procedure refer to a professional.

heh, I just made this post like 2 days ago but deleted it because there are already seamfoam threads in the fluids section.

Check out this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=308576

Most people use the brake booster hose. I did mine yesterday using the brake booster hose... although my exhaust didn't smoke at all like everyone elses, and I sucked up over half the bottle

yes brake booster is good also...just need to regulate the flow more...or else it'll stall.

Or bend rods. I can't believe people are so willing to use this hose and at the same time go ape crap over CAIs.

yup...that's why i said to exercise caution. it's going to smoke..but you can't just pour it down. there's A LOT of vacume at the brake booster.

Post whoring > abusing powers. So unless you want to appear to be I wouldn't recommend PW too much.

No doubt! Espeically Shawn's post whoring!

Oh....Seafoam rocks. I use the brake booster...but very carefully. I'll have to try the FPR trick though...sounds safer!

If it was one post, I wouldn't have cared. But it's been more than that.

okie

Seafoam can + brake booster =

Parrrrttttttttttttyyyyy!

Decent spot on the VG:

Using brake booster because I dont thing the first spot really gets all 6 cylinders good and vice versa:

VE > VG because there are multiple Vacuum line ports that will get all of the cylinders evenly

Nothing beats just taking the intake manifold(s) off and blasting them to hell with CRC Green though

There was this IV thing that I used at my school. We put it through the brake booster and it did very well. It only let a certain amount of seafoam through, and it smoked like crazy.

So anyone know why I didn't get any smoke?

Also, are you guys saying using the brake booster is dangerous? How so? That would've been good to know before I did it...
