for the last day or two when I tried to crank my car it puttered like and tried to cut off. then after i take off its fine. what could be causing this?

i think the correct word would be "cranked"

 

Or "done crunked" as some folks say here in Texas....

Anyways, a couple of posts exist recently with similar symptoms. Consensus seems to be injectors or MAF related. Mine is doing the same thing on occasion, and I know for a fact I have at least one bad injector. I'd check those 2 things first, especially since smarter people than me have suggested it..
