sunroof in 89 maxima se

I have a 1989 maxima. The sunroof will let up and down but wont go back. What can I do to get it to do it.

I have the same problem. I think it needs to be rebuilt. Its something to do with the cable getting jammed in the rail or something.

i have a similar problem. mine goes up and down, but mine goes back, but when it gets there, it wont go back forward, i have replace the whoel things, motor and railings, you might want to just do that.

I'm having a similar problem, but mine slides fine, but jams after i raise the back and close it. I'd check your track and possible lubricate it, also make sure there are no obstructions.
