Sorry Jeff, Im gonna subcribe soon/ So Michael how is you Ebay intake??? Should I get one? Also, What is this "Air Bypass Valve?? Is it stock??

its fine...I honestly dont know if it made a performance improvement because I havent driven the car since I put it on. Its just as good as all the others that go in the fender well. I kind of like Jeff's design where its behind the headlight.

I had an hai with homemade steel tube and a filter and then I bought that ebay cai for $30. For my VE, it made a HUGE difference in sound and it added some power. I also couldn't believe how they could make something with that good of quality for so cheap. It is all polished, mandrel bent 3" aluminum tubing. The filter kind of sucks but it doesn't affect it at all. As for water getting in engine, I haven't had any problems. The filter isn't that close to the ground and the only thing that can happen is the filter might get a little wet.

With the HAI do you get rid of the stock Intake box?? Does it sit in the open in the same spot?? Do you get rid of the Cold Air Duct also?

Yes you have to get rid of all that stuff. The cone filter sits where the stock airbox is now.
