painted vs polished want to get really stealthly? Get some Z31 turbo rims 16x7.5 or so. Exact same design as the 3-gen se but in a 16" diameter. One turbo version is already gunmetal color. OG gunmetal

Dont' start a new thread about this. At least give some credit to where you found the information Yes they fit w/o any rubbing problems. They probably flake if not taken care of just like any other Nissan wheel.

How about you pay attention for once?? I answered everything you asked for. I help 10x the people you do. You want to compare my posts vs yours?? How much do you want to bet???? Let me know I have about a grand in paypal we can put down right now. So put up or shut up. And since I'm a moderator with powers to "vacation" or permantely ban, I sure wouldn't want to lose.

tsk tsk tsk..
Jeff wasn't being a smartass at all. he said something matter-of-factly and just because he didn't kiss your a$$ when he gave you the information, you decide to b!tch about it. Jeff didn't have to tell you ANYTHING. he could have just kept his mouth shut and you would have never known.

Next time you ask a question (if you're still around after this post), I'll be sure to stick a big FU in there instead of replying with factual information

Yup. Oh well, it's people like him that rarely answer tech questions anymore. Unless someone is going to die because of serious lack of correct information, I tend to not to answer anymore.

Too true, but there are still some of us that appreciate the comments and advice that guys such as yourself and matt (to name just a couple) offer.

I remember when i first joined up on 2002, and you guys were the main ones that helped me through all my newbie questions, and technical issues and its because of people such as yourselves that i still have this car! Not only because you helped me fix things, but you sparked my enthusiasm, and my desire to learn more! Now i'm really in to this car, and with the help of a few guys here in New Zealand, are trying to start up our own maxima club!

So, a big thanks to those who know they deserve it, and for those who are doing their best to ruin things for the rest of us, just **** off!

sorry, OT

Oh, There is a z31 in town with those 16" gunmetal wheels. They look pretty sweet. I thought about trying to swap with my VE wheels and tires + money, but then I found the wheels I have.

i must still be a newbie, as i was never aware that the z31's were an inch larger. that is surprisingly cool. i would bet the 3rd gen would look neat with those --a subtle difference. it'd look great on a lowered SE with hi-performance tires.

And according to Jeff, they are 7.5" wide so you can run a fatter tire Hopefully it doesn't rub though.

the gunmetal ones would look badas$ as well. i have always liked the stockie SE wheel design. looks very appropriate and natural on the body style.

Again, they don't rub and you don't need spacer for them, and stock size for them are 225/50/16. Be more specific, they are from 87-89 Z31 Turbo.
