Turn signal wiring mod
Turn signal wiring mod
Doing an oil change yesterday and waiting for that last drop of oil to drip…..I’ve decided to mess with the Bright Steady turn signal. Instead of being steady light, I wanted it to blink. Rewiring it was so easy!
I cut the solid colored red wire in the corner lights, then tapped it to the pink/black (not the solid black wire) wire in the turn signal, that was it!
Now, it blinks every time whether I have the park lights on or off. I’m happy with it!
oh yeah, i did remember to finish my oil change!

Having white turn signals in CT aren't illegal. I have had numerous occasions where cops were driving alongside of me and my turn signals would be on to get into the proper turning lane. I forgot to mention that my clear corners are tinted with niteshades to so I should have 2 tickets right there. One for my polargs and the other for the tints spray restricting the light output. I had these for about 1 yr now.
well, to me having that steady bright light is weird. it looks like an oldsmobile.
i haven't have any tickets yet regarding white turn signals, i've been driving my t-bird for almost 5yrs now with clear bulbs. but in anycase that i do pulled over because of it....i will post here.
