Just Bought WSP Y-Pipe / The studs are bad?

I just bought a WSP Y Pipe for my 93 Max SOHC GXE. There is a sound that could be a stud that is broken and jiggling around. Its over by the belts, water pump ac compressor area. My buddy that install things for me says he will install the y-pipe for 70 bucks and if the studs are bad then thats about 45 a stud is this a good deal? The pipe is coming Moday 8th and I am having it install in the afternoon.

THANKS

sell yer gold gxe and buy an se man. those are worth customizing. the only person a gxe is better than an se for would be some stupid chrome trim loving dayton sittin disgustingly ugly car liking fake mo fo. if you like sport cars then get an se.

Actually, the only 3rd gens worth customizing are 92-94 SE 5-speeds with the VE engine. Soooo, I suggest you sell your 91 and buy a 92-94. The only person an 89-91 SE is better for than a 92-94 SE would be some stupid idiot who thinks his maxima is better than a GXE just because it has a 5-speed and doesn't have the chrome trim. If you like sports cars then buy a Rustang and leave this site.

As for the deal, $45/stud is pretty good.

You can have an independent small shop do it for about $40 for the Y-pipe install.

WOW! we seemed to be very VE biased here. Just becuase someone wants a fast(er) chromed out auto vg doesnt mean they shud be kicked around. after all, VG's have potential. I think?

when does it end? --ok, then: the 92-94 SE is a waste of time to customize because it is not AWD. if you like true performance sedans, buy a WRX or Evo and leave this site.

Haha I know, that was the point I was trying to make. I was trying to be sarcastic. Sorry if it came across as mean like him.

wait a minute.....what's wrong with a VG engine?? if its cause of the HP difference, mine seems to be plenty fast enough without it being a VE, and its auto!!! so here's what i think about this,

I got it installed and It runs good. The pipe makes performace at higher RPM at more responive and my muffler sounds much deeper. But I still have my ticking, taping, rattling noise that will not go away.
