Flowmasters?

NO flowmaster they're good for american cars. My friend put one on his civic and now I constantly make fun of him cause its crap. Hes also a dumb@$$ and put plastic spinners on his stock wheels and he has 4 flowmaster stickers on his car. So again no flowmaster

just don't get the 40 series flowmaster if you decide to get one. i bought a flowmaster once without knowing the differences in the series and they threw on a 40. that thing droned like a mother ****er. i personally recommend magnaflow. i have straight through exhaust and the only time it drones is for a short period at around 2,000 rpm. i keep my rpms at 2,700-3,000 when cruising so there's no droning at all on the highway. just a thought.

I sell ravin too.
BTW I think this one looks best :
ANSA make a similar one, but they only have 1 left and none on order.
I think I'm going to buy the ANSA one, twice the price, but it's ANSA

that is a good looking muffler. is it a straight through design or is it like a turbo muffler? How much is it?
as far as flowmaster goes. I loved them on my Chevelle, Nova and Camaro but think they sound funny on every import I have heard them on.

well im trying to avoid that ever so stereotypical ricer sound..i do realize it is an import but rather than make my car sound like my W3's in my trunk id rather it magnify the sound of the engine...i know they sound good on the american cars, my friend put one on his Toyota Pickup and you didnt really notice that much of a difference...but i do have an automatic..i dunno how good its gonna sound..so i dunno bad idea?

Go with the Flowmaster man I love the sound of mine, and i just recently added the WSP y pipe and it sounds like a corvette of even a trans-am, and mustang sound which i love, It gets the heads a turning when you go by, as for it giving any Horsepower increase in a dramatic amount well I don't think just a muffler on any 4 or 6 cyclinder car is going to give you any really noticable increase, there just for show unless you have the headers y-pipe and high flow cat. But yeah man go for the Flowmaster, i have a 50 series on mine i believe, or maybe the 40 i put it on 2 years ago and i can't really remember, as for the above statement in a previous thread about problems with the 40 series, i don't really know what the problem could have been, He might have had the racing series muffler, i have the Sport series PIPE and its just perfect for me, if i had a way to record it and show you i would

there's 40 series "the original" which is supposed to be off road and race applications and then the 40 series delta flow. i know the guys there wouldn't have installed the former being a race/off road muffler so it was probaby the delta flow.
it definitely droned (resonated) way too much for my tastes. enough that sometimes my ears were stuffy after driving for a while. that was with a stock exhaust system as well. most like you have a 50 series if the interior noise isn't that high.

another complaint about the flowmaster is that it wasn't stainless steel and rusted in less than a week of owning it. the magnaflow i got was cheaper and was full stainless steel. much better imo.

Since my dad is gone out of the country until March, I have his car. He just had a new catback on his car with a Brand B resonator and Brand B really tiny chambered muffler (about 10-12"). It sounds really nice and sporty, not loud at all. I think I'm going to swap it with mine in the mean time until he gets back

It sounds really nice, just a sporty tone without any signs of aftermarket muffler-type noise. If you ever heard the exhaust on a E36 325i, the tone is similar. I wish I knew who makes the muffler, but on the invoice/receipt, it just says 'muffler' $14.47 ect...
