Does anyone know of any aftermarket oil coolers for the VG30E ? I'm installing a '91 maxima motor into my '84 300zx turbo and the stock oil filter neck hits my exhaust so im looking for a cooler that bolts onto the block in place of the filter extension...
if not, has anyone installed the oil cooler from the automatic 300zx turbos onto a maxima block?\

(my 300 is a 5spd so it doesnt have the oil cooler...)

 

i'm pretty sure you can pull off the piece that the filter bolts to from the Z engine and put it on the Maxima engine. I haven't inspected them yet, but I'm pretty sure they didn't change anything around except for pulling that piece of and bolting on the aluminum piece. i'll try to take a look at my engines tonight and see if they can be changed around.
