Installing Injectors.

I received my injectors from Brian today. I got 1 injector out, and tried putting the new one in with the new o-rings. How do they go in, I don't want to break it. Anybody have some tips?

I will to you forever.

well... what i did with mine was set the injector in there where its supposed to be then put that cap on and light tap it in with a hammer. i'm not sure what the proper way to do it is in the manual but this worked for me. no leaks or anything. (not doing it that way landed me leaks )

yes that is what i did too... other wise there is no way you are going to get it in...put the metal holder piece over it, put a screw driver on it, and -LIGHTLY- tap the screw driver with a hammer. after you think it is in, pull the metal cover off and twist the injector around to make sure it is seated properly.
edit: thanks jeff, i forgot to mention that

Make sure you lightly lube with vaseline or similar. If you tear/pinch the o-ring, you will have some bad leaks.

Does anyone read the stickies? Autozone owns joo.

I didn't want to hammer on it, so I put the cap on and then put the screws in and screwed it in. I hope it's seated correctly.

Are you and Jeff talking about the same thing?

And silverlinekenne, what's up with the boost gauge?

nonononono.... definitely don't do that. there's a high chance you'll get this if you do:

i tried screwing it on and it didn't seal properly. when i used the hammer it sealed perfectly.
