Underdrive pulleys(where, how much, how?)?

Just quick questions - I am looking for a few little things for the car to help it out a little bit - someone posted about underdrive pulleys=$60, where can I get them from? I called up "southwest autoworks", which are whitin 30min from my house, but they're charging $190 for them. Also, I have a JWI pop charger - live in arizona, so it's always hot. If I wanted to get CAI, what would be the most inexpensive way of doing it ( but still not completely made out of scotch tape, and dixie cups)

I looked through the faqs, but couldn't find anything on installing the Underdrive pulley. (I think WSP sells them too)

I think I might need to start donating, since I really need the "search function" sometimes..

I've never seen or heard of UDPs being sold for $60. The VE one from asp is around $100. The VG one from unorthodox is about $180 or so. You can get the VG one from courtesyparts.com

WSP does not and has never sold any type of UDP. There is a how-to for installing a UDP on the VE engine but it's 99% the same as for your car.

maybe if it was damged and shaped like an egg. you could get it for half the cost, but dont know about the performance gain that would give.

Would it really be worth the $200? I know there are some gains, but I figured for $60, it would be worth revving alot quicker - all I have on mine right now is the JWI pop charger, and the WSP y-pipe.

Do you think it'd be a good investment? (mainly looking for lower end power - under 3500, or under 60mph)

Thanks

If you're looking to keep the cost low. Here's a few things

Warpspeed Y-pipe
Hi-flow cat
2.25 or 2.5 piping from the cat back
Aftermarket muffler, (brand depends upon your taste in sound)
NGK wires
NGk copper spark plugs or Denso
Aftermarket clutch

Those are a few of the basics. I know a some of the other members can list a few more items.

And as for the intake, good question. Cattman, Stillen , Warpspeed, and Place all make intakes. I think there's an even cheaper version on ebay but they're junk
