&*@%! windo reg.

So i got a new back right window regulator from auto zone the other day. Took out the old one, transfered the motors, installed the new one. Everything went smoothly but the window doesnt go up all the way, stops about a 1/6 inch from the top. The regulator and motor fit in pretty snuggly in the wholes so i dont think its mounted to low. Has this happened to anyone?

make sure the window is in the track right. if it's off just a little it will make it slow and it wont go up all the way.

Loosen the mounting bolts for the regulator and the tracks (two bolts up top and down low) and try the window. Just mess around with those adjustments a little and you should be allright.

If you look at the mounting holes on the upper part, they are oval to allow for adjustments.

I did the exact same thing as you. I mounted the new regulator in the exact spot where the old one was (there were marks from the bolts) and the thing stopped about 1/2 short. However, the new regulator must have been a touch different, so I moved the bolts and it was fine.
