Brake light gremlin?

Well I have yet to drive my car since the cops raped it, but I notice a little problem that wasn't there before. When I tap the brakes with the parking lights on,me foglights illuminate(if the switch is on), but the brake lights do not get any brighter.
When the parking lights are off, and I tap the brakes, the brake lights light up along with the fogs. Ive tried it with numerous bulbs with the same result.
Ive done the corner light rewire a long time ago, but could this have anything to do with this? Anybody know what could be wrong? I was going to go for a drive last night. Oh well, input please??

sorry to laugh but that just funny. when it was in the "shop" werent they doing something with the spoiler? they could have been trying to take out the 3rd brake light and wired something wrong or shorted out something. but I have no ideah. its just sort of funny to picture what that would look like while it was messing up.

I have no idea what may have caused it, but I didnt have a spoiler on the trunk when I took it in. I only have brake lights when the parking/headlights are off. Im gonna take the car in Saturday, but I want to know if there is a simple solution first.

sounds like they wired something wrong.
unhook any wires that go to the trunk lid.

Everything is hooked up as far as the taillights, but I no longer have the third brake light hooked up since I took off the spoiler. Could that be it?

they could have touched the wires for the light together somehow and blew a fuse. I dont know if that would cause whats happening but check all of the fuses.
