the bump in the torque curve just makes it obvious where things are... the VTCs are the higher bump and the power valve is the lower one.

Yeah, we know the VTCs are around 4600 or so. That's a nice bump in power too! The kind of gain that I feel when my VI releases is about the same. It's a very noticable gain, even from the passenger seat! Maybe about 5ft-lbs.

I just watched those videos of Shawn's VI LED. It seems to release at 3400rpm. That makes sense b/c I originally had it set at 4600 and I could feel a big gain in power at 4600 b/c I was losing so much low end. Then I set it to 4100 and I can still feel a gain in power, just much less than 4600. So that means that I probably need to set it even lower. Nice videos!

I am sure I can host them tomorrow. It's late and my main PC isn't on and I don't feel like turning it on.
