I logged into the map , Im the fool that uploaded his parents picture first thinking it was his car... Anyways I owned my max since I was a senior in HS and 17. Three years, a JDM engine and one destroyed chrome rim later I still love my 3rd Gen, It is running and handling better than ever. Repin Long Island, New York ~Charlie~

love my gxe; hope it holds up for a few more years.

i hope to keep it for the rest of my life as a relic, along with my future maximas...may be worth a lot someday like anything else.

What's up? I'm Bob. I bought an inexpensive 93 GXE a couple years ago, reluctantly after parting with my 94 Taurus SHO. Now I love the car, in spite of having to repair some expensive items, like trans. (auto), front end, and a rough under hood rust problem. Undecided whether I will keep it, or save the good parts get another gen 3.

Org. name? well how about the "poor middle-aged nursing students' college fund?" Kidding. Peace all, and I've gotten a lot of useful info and resources from here, btw

That's just wonderful. Please take pics of the engine and describe the minor problems you are having. What color is your car btw?

92 body 99 engine?

I just bought my white 92 Maxima two days ago. The seller was claiming that the engine is from a 99 maxima. If he's right, according to my friends research, it might be 92 intake manifold with a 99 block, which makes it a VQ30ED, i believe. or it might just be plain old bs.
Some problems while driving is a dying clutch, major hesitation from the engine and some shifting problems (it grinds when i downshift to second, while clutch depressed, at medium rpm), clicking noises from the engine, (according to the my friend's auto s***hascope, it's coming from the front middle piston. But besides that the trunk got rear ended and i havnt been able to open it. I live in the north subs of chicago, it's freezing ***** and im going to be taking auto body classes next semester. But for $850, not bad? Brakes and suspension seem to be fine, so far. I gave it a oil change and some fuel stuff yesterday, the engine seemed to run a little smoother. Sorry for the extent of the message but it's my first car and a newbie. Actually someone wanna tell me how to post pics? i have pics from my hacked E815 phone.
