I originally had a grey 90 maxima se that I bought, I loved that car. I chopped the shifter to make it shorter, put in a pioneer deck with a rockford 500s amp and a 15" in the trunk. Redid the cv shafts, ball joints, control arm, and a bunch else that I can't remember. NE ways it now sits in the impound lot in New Orleans, but I got a red '93 maxima SE in florida and love it, but after a few weeks I realized the engine was shot, along with a lot of other problems under the hood . Body is in great shape though So now it sits parked in a garage awaiting a new engine. I heard a 300zx engine would fit in there, if true I am going that route. I'll post some pics later. Just stumbled along this site and am really glad to be a part of it.

You guys and gals from oustide the Midwest have some sweet looking Maxima's. The snow and salt up north sure beats up our Maxima's. Still much better shape than most domestics.

I am a veteran of Supraforums but new to this forum and just wanted to say HI!! Just bought an 94 Black on gray cloth automatic maxima GXE as my daily. My current daily is a 03 Acura TL Type-S but I need the money more than the car right now so the Acura is up for sale - I have a feeling that I'm gonna miss that 100 hp and 50tq that the Acura has over the Nissan!! The Maxima seems to have every option but leather. It has the Bose cd and tape stereo, abs, electronic climate control, dual front power seats, dual power heated outside mirors, and sunroof. It really is a nice lookin car. I'm not gonna do any crazy mods - thats what I say now-, just keep it in great condition. I am from Wayne N.J. and hoping to meet up with everyone sometime soon.

George

New to nissan and everything to do with nissan. Was a VW head and got bored with the same thing over and over again. Love the way the gen 3 maxima's look bought one. Not sure what model it is 5speed 91 white with 71,000 original miles. Pulls hard.. harder than any volkswagen i've ever driven, think i found my next project. Looking for a basic intake.. cant findum n-e where.. i think i have to maybe just cone filter? please let me know

I used to be from Illinois, but now my Maxima sees more fog than snow.
You could say I was more like this but am now like this . Norcal is not exactly warm, but warmer than Chicago.

But how about 'em White Sox! World Series Champs
