How much capacity of antifreeze for 92 gxe maxima? Urgent as working on it now..

I'm fixing the burst bypass hose now in my garage and I have to fill up the radiator with antifreeze/coolant and I cannot find my owner's manual to find out the amount of anti-freeze to fill the cooling system. Can someone please let me know now? Thank you in advance.

1.)Take antifreeze solution
2.)Fill radiator all the way
3.)let car run
4.)fill radiator all the way again
5.)fill radiator overflow
(you add it until you don't need anymore no set amount like oil)

this is proabaly too late, but, when you buy 1 gallon of coolant/antifreeze it comes as 100% pure mixture. When you put it in the car, it needs to be 50/50 water/coolant. So when you mix that one gallon w/ water you get 2 gallons of properly mixed coolant. Follow? That is usually enough for most any cooling system job on a maxima. then just fill it up untill it's full, then follow bleeding procedures in FSM/haynes/chilton's/Wiking's site. then fill resivoir. Voila- yer done!

only problem with that is that if you don't completely drain the sysem, you dump a gallon of straight A/F in there and it's almost full. then you wind up running it too rich and you cause other problems.

best bet is to mix half and half in an old milk jug or something and then dump it in the car. can't go wrong there.

As for total volume, it usually takes just about two gallons for a complete drain/fill if you emptry the radiator and let the block drain a while. (so buy one gallon of antifreeze and mix w/ 1 gal water)

sure.. it's about $7 a gallon for the 50/50 premix.
it's about $8 a gallon for the straight stuff and it'll go twice as far.

I always buy the full strength then mix it 50/50 into another empty jug=2 gallons for $8...
