Junkyard find

Went to the junkyard today, found it off a volvo. It's not like I'm boosting or anything but it was only 7 bucks and who could pass up a deal like that.
What do you all think?

Maybe if you cram it in the tailpipe it will give it that fartcan sound..

i don't think i'll be boosting my max. everyone says that the tranny can't handle it. if anything, i'll probably do a remote mounted turbo, but i don't think that will even happen.

to me it looks like some sort of vacuum valve thingymabobber. in other words its useless for our cars period.

it's a blow off valve from a volvo; on a boosted car, when boost goes to vacuum, it opens and relieves pressure. You didn't happen to pick up a KKK there did you. I know a kid looking for one...

Did you go to the junkyard on 441? That U-Pull-It place? I need to head down there and check the DSM's that are unmolested for parts. Dunno why you bought a random stock BOV if you don't need it though.

yes its a stock blow off valve. Witch could be found anywhere for about $10 ar a junk yard.

yeah i know its kinda pointless without a turbo. i didn't go to the junkyard looking for a blow off vlave, but i found it off a good volvo and it was only 7 bucks, so i took it.
one of my co-workers took the intercooler from the same volvo for the 240sx hes gonna turbo.
