Power windows
Power windows
First off: yes, I know there's multiple problems like this posted all around the 3rd gen forum, but I wasn't able to find one like the problem I am experiencing.
I am able to roll down all of my windows from each door, except the drivers door. The drivers door will roll down the drivers window, and roll up all the other windows, but it will not roll the other three windows down. This may be due to the fact that I was cleaning my doors and dash with some cleaning solution about a week ago, so just today I pulled the window button panel out and sprayed some of it with WD-40, but no results. My exterior keypad is able to roll both passanger and driver window down, too. Any ideas???

You may have damaged it first with cleaning solution, but WD-40 is DEFINITELY NOT for spraying into electrical circuits. You might be able to take it totally apart and clean it up but I doubt it. Get a new (used) master switch.

My plans are to take it out and clean it up a little bit (today), if that's no good, then I plan on ordering a new one via ebay.
Thanks for the help! Much appreciated.
Power windows slow to come up
hey people , my 1991 Maxima has a small glitch , the passenger side windows both front and back are slow to come up. They go down easy its the coming up part thats tough. the back on even stopsat one point. Do i need to change the regulators or just lube them up or something. Thanks in advance
P.S if i want to post a new thread what do i need to do?(donate?)
