Have you tried the bulb from the right headlamp onto the left headlamp?

lolz ok first question what type of bulb are u using if there those aftermarket hyper white bulbs do this take off the wire harness dat goes to the bulb look inside and make sure that the prongs on the inside of it are not burnt cuz if so then ur gonna have to go to auto zone and buy the harnesses made to go with those aftermarket bulbs that will fry out stock wire harnesses. i know this as i did it with my first maxima lolz and ive had those harnesses with my second maxima as well but now i dont need them nor have them as i wrecked the friont end of my second max and it was totaled

I have the same problem too. The low beam only deliver about 10v to the headlight and that's not enough to start my HID ballast. I had to connect the high beam wire to it inorder to get 12v. I think there is something wrong with the relay.

BTW the relay is located somewhere behind the driver-side front wheel.

You probably need to replace your headlight switch on the steering column...

Or you could try to clean the contacts first, sometimes this works, sometimes not...

I thought the switch only control the on and off of the headlight and the relay supply the power? Correct me if I am wrong.

I'm with greenmax on this one, it's pretty simple inside the bulb you have a low beam and a high beam, the low beam burned out...grab yourself a new bulb and you're good to go.
