Seafoam in crankcase and oilchange

I sent an email to them about when to change the oil after seafoaming the crankcase and heres the reply

When used as a pre cleaner to doing an oil change service, Sea Foam suggests you drive a MINIMUM of 30 minutes to a MAXIMUM of 200 miles, then do your LOF service.

As an after service additive for cleaning and drying moisture, it is the responsibility of the consumer to MONITOR the oil for color and clarity at specific timed or mileage intervals to determine WHEN an oil change service is necessary.

Sea Foam will make your fresh oil get dirty, usually faster than normal, as it makes old oil residue back into liquid so that contamination may flow and be filtered out. How fast depends upon how much old oil contamination may be present in the particular system. MONITORING is recommended to determine when LOF service should be performed.

Seafoam experience

I used seafoam in my Maxima after the head gasket blew and got water in the oil. It quickly and effectively got the gunk out of the oil and made the next oil change look like normal (normal for a car with 230,000 miles anyway).

I put it in with fresh oil right after putting the engine back together (New head gasket) and ran the engine for about 10 -15 minutes and dreained it and changed the filter. Wha tcame out looked awful, but it was effective.

It's good stuff!
