Do you have the lights, the frame and the lense covers?? I'm seriously considering going back tothe stock lamps and upgrading the bulbs. The E36 are nice but I'm just getting tired of them. Make me an offer if you need them.

If you go back to stock do the 9007 wire and bulb upgrade which is nite and day compared to 9004.

haha you make it sound so simple. Its not a direct swap by any means but if taken the time to play and experiment with is the best option. There are no write ups on doing it though...unless you wrote one I dont know about.

Just an idea. someone already did it with out stock glass remember? just need to get the euro clear lenses and do it. i dont mind the flat face of my lights. IMO my headlights style/lightoutput are far greater than the curviture of going back to stock headlights. do you know how long it took to aim projector headlights when they naturally tilt in! too many pieces of sheet metal strips were used to test lol. and i still havent gotten them "prefect". but the H7 6000k hids + Depo headlights is 1203120301230 x better than a stock curviture. but everyone has their own opinions!

Who did it? I don't remember anyone doing it but I may have missed it since I am not on here much.

I took a stock lens and placed it over the E36 lights but thats all I did. I didn't make the cuts needed, I didn't seal them and I definitely didn't see if they would align correctly after putting the lens on. Maybe you aren't talking about me though...please show me where someone actually did it (following through to the end) so I can see how it turned out.

here is my point...I do think the lens will go on and be the best option or I wouldn't have stuck the factory lens on the E36 frame (not completely just stuck it on to see how much would need to be done) but it is going to have to be played with in order to do it right and is not just a matter of taking one lens off and putting another one on.

If you look at his posts and questions it is obvious he is not an experimental type guy and doesn't appear to be the type to take something and make it work without a write up...(no offense to the guy because most people are that way) and just blankly stating the way you did could leave the guy in a mess.

I just think you should have stated that it would be the best option BUT no one has done it and it would take experimentation to make it work because there is no write up on it.

no he is saying to swap the glass.

Buy the euro lights...take the lens off and put them on the E36 lights (after taking the E36 lens off). This will work I believe but there will be some cutting and experimentation that will be required to do it correctly.

yeah that will deff be the best option but most work. sorry if i made it sound too easy. it deff will take some work. but will look the best if u want the stock curviture. or just buy the euro e36 and when you mount them to your car make them inset alot. and put the wade covor over. i duno. i never had a problem with my glass e36 lenses... and i still get plenty of compliments.

Yes but I wasn't responding to you. I was responding to elusivemax93 (notice I included his quote in my response) because he said that heresmymind was talking about the E36 lights and not the "euro" lights.
