I will definitely let everybody know as soon as humanly possible! I don't want any further delays to happen.

The spacers will be made out of a 1/4" thick phenolic.

Right now, the VG kit is expected to have a 1/4" Throttle Body Spacer, a 1/4" Dual Duct (Elbow) Spacer, 1/4" IACV-AAC Spacer, all the nessecary hardware with longer bolts, two coolant bypass fittings, detailed instructions with photos, and silver die cut Nissan Works window decals.

The price for this kit is expected to be cheaper than the VE kit (which is priced at $145 plus shipping).

Sorry guys, I waited as long as I could. I've got my engine 95% back together. Lacking only a few vacuum lines, plugs, crank pulley and belts, then finally intake plumbing. Especially since it appears it may be a few more weeks before done, just can't wait to get the car back on the road. I'll have to consider if I want to tear the manifold down again to install this spacer once they're done and the price is posted.

That's alright. This kit will be VERY easy to install. You don't even have to remove the intake manifold to install it.

I will only sell this as a complete kit after I test it.

Also, there won't be a lower intake manifold spacer or an upper intake manifold spacer in this kit. If you guys want that, the price of the kit will EASILY cost over $250 since it will be much much more complicated than the VQ35DE kit I offer. There isn't enough demand in the VG crowd to support my costs if you want LIM and UIM spacers included.

I only plan to make a kit that includes what is stated above. I will test it first to make sure I see the temp decreases I project.

I will post pics just as soon as I get the spacers made.

With the spacer kit installed, the dual duct tube will sit exactly a 1/2" further towards the front of the vehicle. That should give you a good idea if your custom intake will still fit or not.

Update: I just wanted to give everyone an update on the development of the VG Spacer Kit.

The final cost has been set at $125 plus shipping.

The kit will include the following:
1) 1/4" Dual Duct Spacer
2) 1/4" Throttle Body Spacer
3) 1/4" IACV Spacer
4) All necessary zinc plated lengthened grade 8 bolts with washers
5) Two Coolant Bypass Fittings
6) Detailed Installation Instructions with photos and torque procedures
7) ... and die cut decals

The EXPECTED date that these kits will be ready to ship is Monday, 6/18/07. That date could change in either direction, so please check this thread for further updates. It depends heavily on how the testing goes. It's possible that the people going to Maxus can get these spacers on time. I am doing everything I can to make sure you get them before Maxus.

I will need a 50% deposit from everyone that has added their name to the list. Once I receive the majority of the deposits, the spacers will be made. Right now, the CNC Machine time is not set in stone until I receive most of the deposits.

For the people on the list, please Paypal your deposit of $62.50 to XXXadogg18@hotmail.comXXX.

Make sure you include the following with your Paypal payment:

1) Your shipping address
2) Your full name (if diff from your account)
3) Your Maxima.org name
4) And a Paypal message that this payment is a deposit for the VG Spacers.

Thank you for everyone's cooperation! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

The parts have not been made yet. They won't be ready for a couple weeks.

Here are some pics for the VQ35DE that show the quality of the spacers I make:

I'm not worried about the quality because from following the threads for a couple of weeks I can see it's a quality product. Can you tell what material you made them from?

They are made from a laminate type of glass based phenolic. It's a very hard and durable material and will definitely last a lifetime.

So far I have not received any deposits from anybody. If I don't receive the majority of the deposits by the end of this week, then I will have to abort or postpone this project.

I have still not received a single deposit from anybody on this list. I am VERY sorry, but I will have to postpone production on these VG spacers until I receive the majority of deposits.

Once I receive enough deposits, I will schedule a CNC session and have these made, which takes at least 2 weeks. I went ahead and scheduled everything thinking I would receive these deposits quickly. I wanted to have these made before Maxus, but it might not be possible.

I really want to get these made for the VG crowd. But I can't afford to pay all the setup costs involved. I hope everybody understands.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Again, is what I need from everybody:

I will need a 50% deposit from everyone that has added their name to the list. Once I receive the majority of the deposits, the spacers will be made. Right now, the CNC machine time is not set in stone until I receive most of the deposits.

The product looks fantastic. Look at it! Even the instructions are amazing. Even though my sorry *** can't scrounge up the cash at the moment I would still like to say that this is a mod. that is worth it. I was even going to make these myself. The VG is a sleeper. Good luck to you all, don't let this fall through.

Ok, I figured everybody has subcribed to this thread so they would see when I posted updates.

I will send out PMs to everybody on the list to make sure they know, but I notice that some have limited Maxima.org activity according to the stats on their profile.

Thank you for your deposit.

What EGR part are you referring to? My spacers will not effect the EGR system in any way.

There are 7 pages in this thread. If I post a list and keep updating that specific list, nobody will know what page it will be on since new pages are constantly being added to this thread.

It appears that a lot of people missed my initial post about the deposits.

I will just keep making new posts everytime I receive a new deposit just so people know how much progress we are making.
