Wierd steering thing.

I was driving today and my steering seems loose-ish, like when i barely turn the wheel it seems like there is a loose bolt or something and it isnt super responsive. Like there is play in my steering or something.

Also when i go above 70ish mph my steering wheel sort of vibrates, not voilently but its noticable. I thought it was that springs and shocks but i had them replaced over the summer with eibach/koni's and the vibrating seemed like it went away but although it isnt as bad ive begun to notice it again.

I really have no idea what it could be, so can you help me out...

Thanks
Alex

I initially was planning on changing the rack but I came to realize it looks fine. And I'm pretty broke right now too so I returned it for full refund. My pump was the one getting bad so I have to change that. So when I work on that I would like to change the rack bushings too. Does anyone here know if I can change the 2 rack bushings without removing the rack? I know that's laziness but can I get away without taking it off?

yes. the bushing is split.

when you do the job loosen one side...then remove the bracket on the side you want to swap bushing. same thing when you want to do the other side.
