Just installed UDP

Just installed UDP today on my vg
feels kinda good at low end havent tested it yet for real , because drive shaft boot is torn, i dont wanna make the grease inside fly out just yet gonna fix that in a couple of days

installation wasnt that hard..
i feel a bit more pull at the lower end of the power.. top end feels the same

over all i think the UDP helps a bunch

Your CV boots rotate the same speed as your wheels, no matter what RPM the engine is is running or how hard you're driving..
if you're going above about 10mph, it WILL sling the grease out of the CV boot...
as long as you get it fixed in the next week or so, you'll be fine.. just put a new boot on it and move on.

The first day with the UDP I didn't feel that much gain. A couple days later though I was really glad that I paid that much money for it.

does it take time for the ecu to get used to the pully or something?
because as of right now i dont feel that much gains, but i can defenitely feel that is much better than the stock crank pully.
hopefully after i get my cv boot fixed i can fully enjoy this product

Yes they will break eventually. My CV boots tore within one week of each other, so if I were you and had the money I'd do both boots at the same time. Luckily the shop gave me the second alignment for free since they told me that the second boot looked fine. Like Matt said, I wouldn't wait longer than a week.

Yeah, at first I was ****ed off at the gains. It takes a while for the ECU to catch up. I was reading Greg Pete's write-up and he said that most of the gains came before the ECU, but it was the reverse for my case.

every thing was easy...taking off the belts and all
just took me about 30 mins impacting the heck out of the bolt that held the pully in, after about constant impacting it finally broke loose, even after i sprayed wd 40 and let it soak in over night, and when i was trying to get i out.. but after that, the new pully slid right in.. and the old one came out really easy...

i`ll try resetting my ecu later when i need to take my batter out to clean the car

how do you reset your ecu? do you just disconnect your battery, or do you pull a certain fuse. thanks.
