Yeah so do i. But i have not had any luck finding one so i'll just let it wait until after i can afford some of the stuff that actually matters (repair/performance) then I'll worry about wheels and spoiler and stuff. It's currently ILLEGAL to wash one's car in my city, due to the fact that our water supply will only hold us until early January.. but once I wash it i will take the car down to said water supply and get some glamour shots.

the paint seemed to turn out good. i have a tan interior and i want a black one, wat if i painted things like the console and dash? is there special paint that will work or wat? Then i could just buy a black steering wheel and seats/door panels and be good.

I like the pics of northern cars, it helps me to know where I might find rust in 40 years. j/k Are you saying that your rust is fixed? If its not, you should make that a priority. I couldn't sleep at night thinking my car was rusting somewhere.

This 1980-81 marker/pastel drawing on vellum (approx. 30" wide) was a proposal for a 2-door Maxima, submitted in conjunction with a full scale clay 4-door model sharing front sheet metal and rear lamps. Unfortunately the California studio proposals were rejected in favor of the Japanese (in Yokohama, at that time) studios' "tofu" box (about 1983 intro).

okee!!
Got some more in the sun! I've decided to keep the wheels, I've put almost $400 into the setup and it's too late to turn back now. I am taking the wheels to a trusted machine shop and getting the back of the axle holes bored out to 66mm, about 4cm deep. Various people have said it will work fine.

Its a 1989 Motortrend article "Cressida vs Maxima" A staff artist drew both cars in 2 door form, perhaps to raise eyebrows at Nissan and Toyota. I'm actually kinda glad Nissan stuck with the sedan only. A coupe option would have watered down the sports sedan identity IMO.
I'm so vain
