you mean you got a functional stock spring now and it's put on? or are you talking about something you had done in the past. Well with like 150 drivers out there and who knows how many cars built since 1900.... one and a million could be in the hundreds.

You did take the bulb out of the side that's not working and try it in the other side... right?

If it ends up being a bad bulb I'm going to laugh...

the only real reason to get the 240 and scrap your max is if a) you don't like rear doors and b) you do like rear wheel drive

dude you gotta make up your mind as to what you wanna do its gonna be impossible to fix one car and restore another if your still in school,i mean it can be done but,you have one car with problems, and your gonna buy another for 600 thats almost gaurentied ( dont know if i spelled that right but oh well) to have problems. its not easy trying to create a vehicular masterpiece your gonna run into problems and set backs its a given.Dont give up.As far the so called "bling theory" its like i said in previous post i think that people callin it is a lil harsh. But these guys are right you should've worked all of the mechanical kinks first. you did such a good job on the bodywork, you should've keep goin with the mechanical. All the "bling" will come. I have "bling" on my car but its running tight and right maintain first "bling" stunt and ball second Now stop whining and fix the freakin car ha ha had to flame ya alil bit

Maxima Rule #4080: Never sell a Nissan Maxima. I know your keeping it but remember this for the future. Don't sell a car because your having problems with it then buy another car thats not brand new. If you sell someone else your problems you'll just wind up buying someone elses. At least with your car you know what the problems are.

Oh great, now we need to make up rules 1-4079. But yeah, this has been my philosophy more or less...

Regarding headlights, its simple enough to troubleshoot if you sit down and try to get your head around the issue. There is a path the electrons have to take in order to close the loop, follow it and clear the obstructions. If you have no FSM, then fix that first. I hope you have a multimeter as well, if not then get one right now, you'll use it over and over.

yeah dude i have had my butt saved a couple times by a multimeter. I like to screw with electrical stuff so it's especially useful for me. I don't have a whole lot of money either but I know what I want to do to my car, depending on varying potential future income levels... sort of a setup #1, setup #2, etc.. because of course biger and better things can come if I have more cash. do I want a stiffer suspension? Yep. Do I want a 5speed? Hell yes. Do I want a turbo? Kindasorta. Can I afford any of them right now? No. But I know that the priority order is just as listed, because a car with a sturdy suspension is more important than me having fun rowing the gears and finessing the clutch pedal. I also have several electrical things I want to work on. Mainly lighting stuff, but a couple other things as well. I also want a spoiler, new paint, some nice 17" rims and a few other dressup items. I also want rear discs and HIDs. Not to mention a WSP Ypipe, custom intake manifold, fixed exhaust studs, and a non-whiny PS pump.

Point is, I'm young (19) but I still know what's what, what's important, and what's just fluff. The paint is the least of my concerns. The suspension... definitely the most important. It just happens to be that I make under $8/hr and quite frankly, that ain't ****. So I'll do what I can, when I can, but I'm not going to ***** about stuff that's wrong with my car, and 'm certainly not going to let a bad headlight circuit get in my way... Not that I have one. That would be my right taillight's sidemarker light's job..
