Got it. If it starts fine tomorrow morning, it will be the best Christmas gift I can wish for.

One set of intake gaskets: 25 dollars,
six rebuild fuel injectors: 150 dollars,
tools I bought for this job: 40 dollars,
wife's daily teasing that I'd send it to a garage: last two months,
The joy I get from doing this myself: priceless

Only if it runs though tomorrow.

No need to mess with the gas peddle, just turn the key on, and the fuel pump and regulator will do the job.

Yea tell me about it, she loves that I teach her to work on cars...has proved so many guys wrong when they try to act like they know something...that its hot!

She currently knows how to change pads/rotors, oil change, tune up, injectors with a little hand from me,
--she knows how to adjust timing and DID watch as her dad and I did her timing belt, w/p, drive belts, crank/cam shaft seals but I dont know if she paid enough attention to where she can do that big of a job. Either way I love having my lil foo foo monkey working on cars with me

oh by the way, she's been my gf since we were 15 and we're getting married in the near future
