The problem is I been afraid of running the engine longer with that smoke, because I don't want to burn gaskets or anything

I don't see fans run because they won't run until some temp is reached, same questions I've made to myself, if oil, coolant, or anything else is burning, why levels stay the same?, no spot on the ground that's for sure.

Besides just after the smoke starts the RPM starts jumping and honestly that's why I turn of the car, the behavior is weird, I wish I knew what to do when the idle starts jumping between 1.5k -2k RPM to keep it stable, probably like some of you suggest I'm gonna clean my IACV and see if that helps, if not, then I'll swap ECU, however I have no idea if that will help about the smoke.

A neighbor saw my problem and he told me that probably the smoke is from some remanents of the block that needs to be burned out.

I'll do the water bucket thing later, but I don't know what I'm looking for by doing that.

Wise neighbor, although same suggestion as mine 2weeks ago. Ask him to peek in and say where it comes from... even pay.

When water hits the smokin pot ---> no smoke. As you now have found your potty: tell/pics/video of this location. If lower intake seals leaks coolant, it could possible cause steam rising. But steam isnt smoke - right? Only oil leak on exhaust manifolds can be from the valve covers. Do they leak or no?

EDIT: Note that when/if u fill a plug well with water, it shorts that cylinder out. Mabe watering not soo goody idee in VGE...

Why your camera cant capture the smoke - if neighbor can?

Yes IACV: attack it.

I been trying to trace the smoke and I took this video, however the smoke before pouring water on it it not very noticeable, but again the bad idle can't fix it, I guess my next move is swapping ECU

That steam rises from hittin exhaust manifold. Cant ? still see the smoke... where is it?

Idle fluctuation increases during video. Is it ? always like that - or is it now related to the poured water?

yo, one thing you can do, is to unbolt those plastic shields from underneath, and get that vantage point, both with your eyes and with the camera. maybe do it when it's a little darker outside and shine a flashlight at the smoke... sometimes it's easier to see it that way.

I really tried in several ways to figure it out exactly where the smoke is coming out, and it always seems to come from the exahust manifold, under the intake plenum body.

This time it stayed running fine for about 10 minutes, CEL went off, but then it blinks sometimes, so I was trying to adjust IACV idle but I didn't see any effect while turning the adjust screw, and no I don't understand the instructions from FSM, it says "run engine at 2k RPM while no-load" WTH does that mean? and it says idle at 750 on N, I never had my Max running on N at 750RPM, only when on D is 750-800 but on D always have it a little above 1k

Now, about the idle fluctuation it idles like that doesn't mater if I pour water or not, but starts fine, after a few minutes (this time about 10 min) idle fluctuates from 1.2k to 1.8k RPM I would say after 5 min every 20 seconds idle drops from 1.5 to 1.2 then it jumps to 1.8 stays there (dropping litle bit) about 20 seconds and then again drops to 1.2, if I keep running the car the fluctuation becomes more ofter, RPM neddle starts jumping like that every 5 seconds or so.

U have to do like Cape says, humble uself and lay down on your back - watch the exhaust and manifold from below. Then scrape off the burnt squirrels...

turn the idle adjustment screw ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT, as a control scenario. that makes the IACV fully respnosible for the idle, rather than only partially responsible. there's 2 air channels: iacv screw and iacv stepmotor.

the 2000 no load is to check for function of the 02 sensor in modes 1 and 2.

I'm willing to bet you have the same issue I do with the engine idling problem. I also just did a tranny swap and like you I had the transmission inhibitor plugged into my injector harness which explained why injectors 2, 4 and 6 (which I thought were 1, 3 and 5) were not working. Once I got the intake installed my car would not idle, I got high idle then that turned into a hunting idle. I took some MAF cleaner and sprayed a continuous stream along the intake manifold and notice my idle smoothed out. You may have a warp intake or just a simple leak. I would recommend checking it while it's running with the spray first to see if the idle improves and it if does remove the intake and check the gasket again and use some ultra high temp gasket sealer. If your seeing white smoke from your exhaust I've seen this with bad O2 sensors.
