Help with Rewiring the Fogs and Cornerning Lights

I have bought some new fog lights for my maxima. I got them from Tokyo and they have blue lens producing 100 watts each with 55 watt bulbs. I was wondering if I need a new wiring harness becuae I have heard that if you do the rewiring process for the fogs and cornering it blows out your bulbs fast without the harness. I know some of you guys have experienced bulbs burning out fast after doing this because it is somewhere on the board about this. Just wanted to get some opinions.

Thanks For Any Help

From what I understand you have a 55w bulb, I am almost 100% sure that you not are going to need a new harness, its not like you are running overwattage bulbs, now if we were talking about over wattage 9004 headlight bulbs then I would say go ahead and get a much more heavy duty harness but you are not going to run into any problems with burning out bulbs on 55w, hope this was of help to you.

Is there any way to hook up your cornering lights to your fog lights? So that when you turn on your fogs, the cornering lights turn on too? It is muchh easier for canyon driving at night.

you can set every light in your car to be on all the time if you want.
Relays are the answer

I've got a 98 GLE, and there is wiring going directly to where fog/driving lights would go, no lights, but also no switch on the turn signal where it normally would be. Do I have to install an aftermarket switch if I'm going to put in OEM foglights?

If electrons can be found flowing in your where fog/driving lights would go ... (switch ON) ... then highly possible to get lamps glowin...

In no electrons flowing (= do measure), then smtg has to be done to route em down 'ere.
